RADIO PROGRAM
The Radio-Program is a public platform that was started by the former Childrens Movement Members Tinomudaishe Ndhlovu (Sir Tin Ndhlovu) and Oscar Nimrod Bowora (now MENTORS) in 2016. The platform is used to communicate youth issues and solutions, organise marches, upcoming workshops and events, and to have on-air dialogs with the call-in. We are live every Wednesday afternoon from 13:30-14:30 GMT WHK, on Base FM channel 106.2, we also do a live broadcast on FACEBOOK at the same time as the show. RE-USABLE SANITARY PADS
The Re-Usable Sanitary Pads has been one of the Childrens Movement main objective since 2015. We believe that it has the potential to help all the women that may not have the resources to afford commercial pads. We developed the Re-Usable Sanitary Pad as a result of having a low school attendance with female students entering into teenage-hood. As the life-skills teachers discovered period pains where one of the main reasons together with the inability to afford or tell their parents they need pads.
THE GLOBAL-SCHOOL
THE 2019 Global School. Also known as the Global Village. It is a collaboration of the Ungar Orna and the Childrens Movement. It was held in Windhoek Namibia April 2019. The Northern, Central, Southern regions of Namibia send about 2-3 representatives to the Global Workshop. It is a brainstorming event. In which ideas are shared, problems are solved and the after-thought is given credible conclusion by all parties involved.
