Female Offender`s Gender-Responsive Programs:
This program is: aimed at the imprisoned female offenders. It’s going to be covered by the Project National Coordinator Mrs. F N Ngairo. This program is one of the earliest 2020 CHIMONA projects. The date of this event will be later announced.
THE GLOBAL VILLAGE
The return of the global school is at hand!! Members of the CHIMONA will once more have an opportunity to participate in the global school 2020. The participants are often the ones that will end up attending the Global Village in Sweden at the end of the year.
Day of the Girl Child
2020 has been a difficult year for most people as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak. The Covid19 pandemic has seen an increase in the crimes against the Namibian Girl Child, an increase in the disappearances, rape cases and an incapable judicial system in apprehending the perpetrators. Hence the Children’s Movement will be holding a workshop to ensure how best we can have our voice heard by the lawmakers.
AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
The Children’s Movement Namibia(CHIMONA) Southern branch will be having an awareness campaign in which they plan to advocate for Children’s Rights as well as for Anti Gender Based Violence. It will be held in Keetmanshoop.
